Composite tiles. Vinyl composite tiles.
The composite tiles are a multilayer covering material of new generation. They consist of steel sheet with thickness of 0.5/0.9 mm that is two-sided covered with aluminum-zinc (the alloy of aluminum, zinc and silicium). Outside the metal sheet is covered with a layer of acrylic coating in which the particles of natural stone are sunk. Due to such covering the roof has high level of fire and corrosion resistance and resistance to sudden temperature falls. The composite tiles save their colour during the whole lifetime that lasts many decades.
They are produced as separate profiled panels with width of 0.4 m and length of 1.4 m with holders for the secured connection. The composite tiles possess high protection properties and by the professional mounting allow reaching a high durability of the roof.
The disadvantages of composite tiles are lesser lifetime in comparison with natural tiles and lesser noise insulation than the rolling roofs have. Because in fact this is metal tiles with comparatively thin layer of special coating.
From another side the main advantage of composite tiles is the composition of advantages of both metal and natural tiles. They have comparatively small weight (1 sheet – around 3 KG.). The mounting of composite tiles isn't very difficult process. Moreover the composite tiles create the effect of natural covering not worse as the ceramic and cement-sand tiles do.
